About van hire

Can we drive it?

Unfortunatally all our hires are for static camper use. Think of the van as your cosy rest space to centre your holiday from. But we are more than happy to deliver the van to where ever you wish. So please ask if you have a site or location in mind. Find some of our favourite and affiliated local sites listed below...

How many does it sleep?

The van comfortably sleeps 2 adults in the main double bed. The bunk is a large single and can sleep 2 children. The bunk comes with a safety net to stop little ones tumbling out of bed, so you can sleep soundly.

Can I take my pet?

Unfortunately pets cannot be brought on board.

Smoking?

For insurance reasons as well as for the consideration of other guests smoking is not permitted within the van.

What Facilities are included?

The van is fitted with a good sized gas cooker, with 4x hobs and grill and oven with a fresh bottle of gas. Sink with pump tap water with a capacity of 25L (cold only). Onboard heating is supplied via a very affective concealed 'night heater'. 240v power is offered (limited if no hookup e.g. festivals). Wi-Fi is optional on all the camp sites where listed on thier web page. We include a BBQ with enough charcole to get you going. And of course a cupboard full of books and games. All sites listed also include toilet, shower and wash room facilities. Check site websites for further details on facilities offered. The van has NO onboard shower or toilet.

Cost and payments?

Hires are split into 3 payments. Van hire, charged per night @ £89. Delivery and collection charge @ £1 per mile from LD1. And finally if applicable the Camp site pitch fee. We will send you a total payment break down and payment options once your date request has been confirmed.

Private hires such as Festival or Accomodation hires need to be paid in full within 24 hours of booking.

We require 3 copies of ID to accept a booking and a deposit of £500. This will be refunded the minute we collect the van and have inspected it. On arrival please bring drivers license or passport to cross reference ID.

How does it work? - drop off and collection

Campsite hires; we will arrange a time to meet you at the camp site of your choice. And where possible you can select your pitch. We will then collect the van mid day on the final day of your hire. Once you arrive you will need to pay for your pitch hire at the campsite office.

Festival hires; we will drop the van and collect the van mid day on the first and last day of your hire. Just let us know when you need it from and to. We can contact the festival to arrange access to drop the camper but remember you will require a camper van pass in addition to tickets.

'Accomodation' hires for weddings, parties etc; we will arrange a time to meet you at the address of your choice. And where possible you can select your pitch. Please be aware good access and pitch location is important. The van doesn't handle mud well! We will then collect the van mid day on the final day of your hire.

When we drop the van we will need to see a passport or drivers license to cross reference against ID supplied at booking.
